Ambleside Parish Centre Migrant Workers Conversation Group

We work in partnership with Ambleside Parish Centre, who run a conversation and support group for people from other countries. The group meets on Tuesday afternoon between 3.30pm and 5.00pm and provides the chance to meet with English volunteers for a coffee and conversation.  Email: admin@amblesidepc.org.uk

Ambleside Library

We meet in the Community Development Centre at Ambleside Library and have benefited for many years from the support and help of the Library team.  

Ambleside Migrant Workers Collaborative Group

We are a lead member the Ambleside Migrant Worker Collaborative group, which includes representatives from local statutory and voluntary sector organisations, local businesses and the migrant workers community. The Group aims to provide support for migrant workers in Ambleside and surrounding areas by:

•                working together and with the local community

•                exchanging knowledge, information and data

•                identifying problems and priorities

•                collaborating in the provision of services and support 

•                aligning budgets to produce more cost effective services

Gateway eHub
